Roof Replacement near Eisenhower Elementary, Vancouver
Vancouver, WA
This 2,400-square-foot home near Eisenhower Elementary in Vancouver, WA was long overdue for a full roof replacement. The existing three-tab shingles had reached the end of their 20-year lifespan, with visible curling, missing granules, and several areas of exposed underlayment. Our team performed a complete tear-off down to the decking, inspected every square foot of plywood for moisture damage, and replaced two sheets that had begun to delaminate from years of Pacific Northwest rain.
We installed Malarkey Vista AR architectural shingles in Charcoal Black, a product specifically engineered for the wet climate of the Columbia River corridor. Every valley received ice and water shield membrane, and we replaced all step flashing around the chimney and plumbing vents with new galvanized steel. Ridge vents were upgraded to provide continuous attic ventilation, reducing moisture buildup and extending the life of the new roof system.
The homeowner also received our complimentary attic inspection, which revealed inadequate insulation in several bays. We provided a detailed report so they could address it at their convenience. From start to finish, the project was completed in two days with full debris cleanup, magnetic nail sweeps of the yard and driveway, and a final walkthrough with the homeowner to review every detail of the installation.
